Our mission is to develop a solution to assist food pantries in digitalizing their records in the form of an app. Through our research, we learned that food pantries do not have a digitialized form of tracking information.
Through our mobile app Pantry Patrol and its use cases, we are able to track client information, monetary donations, volunteers, food donations, wastage by category, wastage by type, and wastage by date.

Who Are We?

We are a team of 9th grade students from Enloe Magnet High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our team has been studying the topic of food wastage, and along the way, we have learned about food insecurity which has drastically increased during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We have partnered with food pantries in our area to develop an app to track, monitor, and reduce food wastage at food pantries. We hope this website will guide you through the work we have done.
